Sony Pictures has released the first trailers – domestic and international versions which are very different – and poster for “Baby Driver,” the new film from “Shaun of the Dead” and “Scott Pilgrim” director Edgar Wright after a several year absence.
Ansel Elgort plays a talented, young getaway driver who constantly listens to a personal soundtrack to drown out tinnitus following an accident as a kid. When he meets the girl of his dreams (Lily James), Baby sees a chance to ditch his criminal life and make a clean getaway.
He’s soon coerced into working for a crime boss (Kevin Spacey) and must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom. Jon Bernthal, Eiza Gonzalez, Jon Hamm and Jamie Foxx co-star in the film which opens August 11th.
