“Harry Potter” film series producer David Heyman is set to produce the live-action film “Warriors” for Alibaba Pictures Group.
The story is based on a series of hit young adult novels about forest-dwelling warring clans of cats. The books involve themes of adventure, forbidden love, nature versus nurture, and faith.
The books are penned by three authors – Kate Cary, Cherith Baldry, Tui Sutherland. There are currently six series of “Warrior” novels, which will each have six books when completed.
