Some new footage has been unveiled from the upcoming “Kong: Skull Island” ahead of the film’s second trailer launch which will go online on Wednesday.
Set in the 1970s, the story follows a group of explorers (Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson) who encounter a monstrous ape after traveling to an uncharted island in the Pacific Ocean.
John Goodman, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, Shea Whigham and Toby Kebbell co-star in the film which director Jordan Vogt-Roberts says will be quite different from past versions – a lonely God-style creature that his own species as opposed to a giant gorilla.
