Marvel is teaming with Netflix’s main rival Hulu to bring teenage super team “The Runaways” to the small screen in a new series.
Created by Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona in 2003, the story follows a group of motley children who discover that their parents are part of a super villain secret society known as The Pride.
“Gossip Girl” creators Josh Schwartz & Stephanie Savage will both write and produce the show which is part of a new deal between Marvel Television, ABC, and Hulu.
No production or air dates have been set, nor has the makeup of the team been confirmed.
