Alessandro Nivola (“Junebug”, “Jurassic Park III”) and Parker Posey have been cast opposite Jessica Alba in the English-language remake of Hong Kong thriller “The Eye” reports Variety.
Storyline revolves around a woman who, after a cornea transplant, begins seeing disturbing images that send her on a quest to find out what happened to the eye’s original owner.
Cruise/Wagner Prods. is producing for Lionsgate whilst Paramount Vantage has signed on as a co-financing partner. French helmers David Moreau and Xavier Palud are set to direct.
