Winter Road Entertainment and Veralux Media have picked up film rights to the faith-themed memoir “Same Kind of Different as Me” says Variety.
The main narrative is based on a true story that chronicles an unlikely friendship between a wealthy art dealer struggling to salvage his crumbling marriage and a drifter living on the streets.
The book explores such motifs as miracles and the healing power of faith. It gained grassroots support in Christian circles and became a New York Times bestseller.
