Criminal Justice
BBC Worldwide Productions and HBO are developing a 10-episode series remake of the U.K. legal drama mini-series “Criminal Justice.”
Steven Zaillian and Richard Price are attached to the project. Ben Whishaw, Pete Postlethwaite, Eddie Marsan and Sophie Okonedo were amongst the stars of the two five-episode mini-series in 2008 and 2009 about a person’s journey through the criminal justice system of Britain.
The deal comes as BBC Worldwide has also recently sold the New York-based disco era drama “Mirrorball” and a remake of “I Claudius”. [Source: Variety]
