Gold Circle Films is planning a film adaptation of David Morrell’s 1984 novel “The Brotherhood of the Rose” says Deadline.
The espionage tale revolves around two orphans who were raised by a CIA operative to be assassins, and find themselves targeted for death.
The project was previously adapted as a 1989 NBC miniseries. Morrell also penned the novel “First Blood” which became the famous first Sylvester Stallone film.
“Lost in Translation” producer and “Taking Chance” writer/director Ross Katz will helm the film which will shoot early next year.
