Zach McGowan (“Black Sails,” “Shameless”) has joined the cast of Gary Shore’s revisionist take on “Dracula” at Universal Pictures.
The film blends true story and mythological elements to tell how a young Romanian prince (Luke Evans) takes on a bloodthirsty sultan and risks his soul to save his wife and child.
McGowan will play a gypsy chief in the film. Sarah Gadon and Dominic Cooper also star and shooting is about to begin in Europe ahead of a release next August.
