Michelle Monaghan, Alexandra Daddario, Elizabeth Reaser and “The Wire” stars Wood Harris and Michael Potts have all joined the cast of HBO’s eight-episode drama series “True Detective” starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson.
The story centers on two detectives whose lives collide during a 17 year hunt for a serial killer in Louisiana.
Monaghan will play the wife of Harrelson’s character, Reaser will play McConaughey’s surgeon girlfriend who works with Monaghan at a hospital.
Daddario will play a sexy court reporter who has a relationship with Harrelson’s character. Harris and Potts will play detectives.
