“Mom” series writer and producer Susan McMartin is adapting Patti Davis’ 2015 novel “The Earth Breaks In Colors” into a feature.
In the story a racially fuelled incident exposes the fissures that sit beneath the surface of friendships and families, causing even more damage than a massive earthquake which has separated them.
McMartin penned the screenplay while Ben Press and Brad Kaplan are producing.
