IFC Films has premiered the trailer for Ken Sanzel’s crime thriller “Best Pancakes in the County” starring Nicolas Cage, Justin Long, Shelley Hennig, Lauren German and Ravi Patel.
Over the course of one explosive night, an unassuming small-town diner in Arkansas becomes the epicenter of a deadly, high-stakes standoff involving rogue federal agents.
The chaos erupts after a career criminal or fast-talking con man nicknamed The S.O.B. (Cage) returns to the remote diner following a botched heist.
The prize? An old hard drive that appears to contain some of the CIA’s dirty laundry. Brandon Mychal Smith, Kelly Greyson, Jaylen Moore and Michael Sirow also star.
Eduard Osipov, Raja Collins, Eric Brenner, Niko Fomenko, Gary Preisler and R. Wesley Sierk III produce. The title opens in select theaters and via digital platforms on November 20th.
Cage is coming off a busy period with “Spider-Noir” on Amazon and the upcoming “Madden” biopic along with period spy thriller “Fortitude,” the action sequel “Lords of War” and the animated “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse”.
