Peacock has premiered the teaser trailer for “TED: The Animated Series,” a new take on Seth MacFarlane’s comedy films and previous live-action prequel series.
This one serves as a sequel to the movies and reunites MacFarlane, reprising his role as the voice of Ted, with big-screen castmates: Mark Wahlberg, as the voice of Ted’s best friend, John; Amanda Seyfried, as the voice of John’s wife, Sam; and Jessica Barth as Ted’s wife, Tami-Lynn.
Starting twelve years after the conclusion of the second film, John and his thunder-buddy Ted are neighbors, both with families of their own and dead-end jobs.
Follow these two lovable stoners as they enable each other’s bad ideas about marriage, parenting, and the challenges of adult life. Also onboard are Kyle Mooney as Apollo and Liz Richman as Ruth.
MacFarlane, Paul Corrigan, Brad Walsh, Erica Huggins, Alana Kleiman, Jason Clark, Aimee Carlson, and Claudia Katz are executive produce for Studio: UGT, Fuzzy Door, and MRC.
“TED: The Animated Series” is set to debut exclusively on Peacock starting on December 17th.
