“Invincible” Renewed & Jack Quaid Joins

Former “The Boys” star Jack Quaid has joined the voice cast of the animated superhero spoof series “Invincible” which hails from “The Walking Dead” creator Robert Kirkman.

Quaid will play a gifted engineer Chris (aka. Gravitator), a who uses his skills for thievery before an encounter with the superhero Invincible turns him around.

Quaid will first appear in the upcoming fifth season of the series with a clip of the character shown at Prime Video’s Annecy showcase on Wednesday.

The biggest news was that the series has been renewed for a sixth season – making it the longest animated series to date for Prime Video.

The fourth season, which aired back in March/April this year, was reportedly the most-watched of the series to date.

Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh and J.K. Simmons lead the voice cast of the series which has sported countless guest stars including Walton Goggins, Mahershala Ali, Mark Hamill, Clancy Brown, Simu Liu, Ben Schwartz, Calista Flockhart, Lee Pace, Jon Hamm, Danai Gurira, Matthew Rhys, Kate Mulgrew, Ella Purnell and many more.
