Marvel Studios’ “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” issued its first trailer back in mid-March and so far, there’s been nothing further since beyond a featurette with no new finished footage.
Now, with the movie out in just under eight weeks, calls for something further are beginning to stir.
On the rumour front, insider Cryptic4KQual is claiming that while Tombstone will appear in the film, his role will be ‘small’ – one of several villains getting only minor parts.
The Cosmic Circus is reporting that the studio is targeting the end of the month for the next key promotional date push, while CBM is reporting that a ‘Tickets on Sale’ trailer is what’s coming next, with a June 17th date being floated.
Exhibitor sites in several markets have reportedly started listing runtimes of around two-and-a-half hours, specifically a few minutes longer than the previous entry ‘No Way Home’, but these appear to be placeholder runtimes rather than a confirmed final runtime.
Finally, new stills are out from the film, which you can see below.
