New photos are out from the upcoming second season of Amazon’s “Batman: Caped Crusader” animated TV series which has finally locked in a July 31st release date.
The 1940s-set show’s first season premiered on the Prime Video service in August 2024 to very good reviews. Now the second season arrives with The Joker, The Riddler, Scarecrow, Roxy Rocket and The Mad Hatter all appearing.
In addition, “The Dark Knight Returns” character Carrie Kelly will also be seen as Grey Ghost. No casting announcements have been made for the new roles yet.
Returning voices include Hamish Linklater as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Jamie Chung as Harley Quinn/Harleen Quinzel, Eric Morgan Stuart as Commissioner Jim Gordon, Krystal Joy Brown as Barbara Gordon, Michelle C. Bonilla as Renee Montoya, Jason Watkins as Alfred Pennyworth, and Bumper Robinson as Lucius Fox.
J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves, Bruce Timm, James Tucker, Geoffrey Thorne, Sarah Geismer, Rachel Rusch Rich, and Sam Register serve as the executive producers.
