HBO Confirms “Euphoria” Has Ended

After stopping short of saying it before, HBO has now confirmed that “Euphoria” is over after three seasons and 26 episodes.

Series creator Sam Levinson revealed the news on The New York Times’ music podcast Popcast, with HBO then subsequently confirming Levinson’s announcement to Variety.

That means last night’s third-season closer episode, titled “In God We Trust,” will be the series finale.

The announcement isn’t a shock as many people, including some of the actors involved, have long expected that the third season would be the last – especially after the full four-year gap between Seasons 2 & 3.

The various stars of the series – notably Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Colman Domingo and Sydney Sweeney – have all moved on to major Hollywood careers.

The series followed a group of high school students as they navigate drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love and friendship. The third season jumped forward several years.
