DC Studios chief and filmmaker James Gunn has shared a first look image of Nicholas Hoult suited up in Lex Luthor’s iconic green Warsuit in the currently shooting “Man of Tomorrow”.
Brought to life with practical effects as opposed to CG, the suit boasts two notable minor changes from the comics. One is a bubble helmet, one that might potentially only deploy upon command if Lex is fighting or in harsh environments.
The other is that the suit boasts an A.R.G.U.S. logo on the chestplate. This suggests that they, not LuthorCorp, is behind the suit and Lex is working for them.
More specifically, Lex is working for Rick Flag Sr. (Frank Grillo) which may be how Lex gets out of prison, where he was last seen.
Cameras are rolling this week in outdoor locations in Atlanta, which may be why the reveal has taken place today – the studio offering a proper shot of the outfit before potentially not so flattering photos appear.
