The other day, the news came that Amazon MGM Studios has officially started auditioning actors for the role of James Bond.
In addition, British casting director veteran Nina Gold has been enlisted to help in the process. Gold has worked on many franchise films, including “Star Wars,” “Jurassic World,” and “Prometheus,” along with shows like “Game of Thrones”.
Now, Gold has given her first comments on the new gig over at Deadline which indicates that though the deal has only just been signed, she’s been keeping an eye out for potentials for a while.
They indicate Gold said that whoever is chosen, they will have “to ooze sex appeal” along with being able to act.
In addition, whoever is cast reportedly needs to be young enough to play the character in three or four (or more) pictures.
Filmmaker Denis Villeneuve is expected to be considering choices later this year.
