Set Photos: Louis Leterrier’s “Liminal”

Filming is currently underway in New York on the sci-fi action feature “Liminal” which hails from “Fast X” and “The Incredible Hulk” director Louis Leterrier.

“The Fantastic Four: First Steps” and “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning” actress Vanessa Kirby, along with “Wonder Man” and “Man on Fire” star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, lead the cast of the feature.

The first photos and videos are now out from the set and show Kirby in a dark jumpsuit doing some running and action stunts.

Apple Studios is backing the project based on the AWA graphic novel “Telepaths” by Eisner Award winner J. Michael Straczynski, Steve Epting and Brian Reber.

In the comic, the story begins when an electromagnetic disturbance results in the sudden awakening of telepathic powers in a tenth of the Earth’s population

Newly telepathic Boston police find themselves sent against a wrongly convicted prisoner who becomes a hero and leader of other telepaths trying to escape a world in which their powers will make them targets.

Both are heroes of their own story, and the future may depend on whether or not trust can be found between them.

Justin Rhodes (“Terminator: Dark Fate”) penned the script, while Zach Studin and Kevin Walsh will produce. The film is expected to hit Apple TV next year.
