Thunder Road
AMC has greenlit the NASCAR drama series “Thunder Road” starring Dennis Quaid. The story follows the multi-generational saga of the Whitlock family, whose legacy in stock car racing ties to the Southern hill country roots that shaped them.

Quaid plays the patriarch who built a racing empire from a legacy of moonshine runs and dirt tracks and refuses to let it die. The series will film this summer and launch on AMC and AMC+ in 2027. [Source: Deadline

The Woods
“Fool Me Once” star Michelle Keegan will re-team with Netflix and Harlan Coben for another of the author’s adaptations – an eight-episode series take on “The Woods”. Tom Bateman, Mandeep Dhillon and Pearce Quigley, will also star.

The story follows a barrister and single father named Paul ‘Cope’ Copeland, whose sister Camille vanished from a summer camp two decades earlier. The traumatic event returns to haunt him after the body of a man who was believed to have been murdered alongside Camille unexpectedly turns up. [Source: Variety]

Welcome to Wrexham
FX Networks has shared the official trailer for the fifth season of its popular documentary series “Welcome to Wrexham” which hails from Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac and returns on May 14th on Hulu and FXX.

The next chapter of the fan-favorite Welsh football team sees them compete in the EFL Championship for the first time after a decades-long absence. It teases the challenges that the team will have to face to achieve their ultimate goal of getting back into the Premier League.

Cape Fear
Apple TV has premiered a series of new one-sheets for its upcoming new limited series version of “Cape Fear”. Javier Bardem, Amy Adams, Patrick Wilson and CCH Pounder co-star in the series in which convict Max Cady, fresh out of prison, seeks revenge on his public defenders, who hid evidence from him that would have changed his case. The series launches on June 5th.
