Following the briefest of teases in a “Daredevil: Born Again” trailer the other day, Marvel Television has now officially released the first trailer for the Special Presentation one-off “The Punisher: One Last Kill”.
Shot in late July and a few days of August last year, it marks the second of three projects in the MCU that see Jon Bernthal reprise his role as Frank Castle/The Punisher from the Marvel Television & Netflix TV series.
The first was the first season of “Daredevil: Born Again,” while the third is “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” opening in cinemas in July.
Plot specifics are under wraps, but the trailer suggests Frank is mentally somewhat losing it as he’s seeing visions of people from his past while people seem to be trying to take him down.
Jason R. Moore, Roe Rancell and Mila Jaymes co-star in the special, penned and directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green (“King Richard,” “Joe Bell,” “Bob Marley: One Love”).
Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Sana Amanat and Jon Bernthal executive produce alongside Green.
“The Punisher: One Last Kill” premieres on Disney+ on May 12th.
