Winona Ryder Joins “Wednesday” Season 3

Netflix

Hot off the news that filming has begun on the third season of Netflix’s “Wednesday,” the streamer has unveiled a full minute-long promo revealing the cast for the new season.

The biggest reveal is that “Stranger Things” and “Beetlejuice” star Winona Ryder is joining the series in the role of Tabitha, seemingly a new character for the franchise. The clip also confirms Eva Green’s casting as Morticia’s troubled sister Aunt Ophelia.

Four more new additions to the series were revealed, including acting veterans Chris Sarandon as Balthazar and Noah Taylor as Cyrus. Pointedly, Sarandon’s name appears on one of two champagne bottles, the other with a large question mark on it. Also onboard are Oscar Morgan (“A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms”) as Atticus, and Kennedy Moyer (“Roofman”) as Daisy.

Returnees include the entire Addams gang – Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams, Luis Guzman as Gomez Addams, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams, Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester, Joanna Lumley as Grandmama, Joonas Suotamo as Lurch and Victor Dorobantu as Thing.

Returning Nevermore students include Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair, Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin, Joy Sunday as Bianca Barclay, Evie Templeton as Agnes DeMille, Moosa Mostafa as Eugene Ottinger, and Georgie Farmer as Ajax Petropolus.

Finally returning adults include Billie Piper as Isadora Capri, Liv Spencer as Varicose, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo as Sheriff Ritchie Santiago. Shooting is expected to continue for months in Ireland ahead of a premiere on the streamer sometime in 2027.
