We had a brief teaser in August and a Baroque Works-themed teaser last month. Today, Netflix has premiered the full trailer for the second season of its live-action “One Piece” series, which returns in one month.
Set to Styx’s “Come Sail Away,” the trailer offers a first look at Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha, Clive Russell as Crocus, and more glimpses of Mikaela Hoover as the voice of Tony Tony Chopper.
The second season is set to adapt and compress multiple arcs from the anime – including Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whisky Peak, Little Garden and Drum Island – into eight episodes.
Returning Straw Hat crew includes Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. Also back from the first season, albeit in reduced capacities, are Jeff Ward as Buggy, Vincent Regan as Admiral Garp, Morgan Davies as Koby, and Aidan Scott as Helmeppo.
New in the second season are Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0/Crocodile, Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday/Nico Robin, Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday/Princess Vivi, Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefartari Cobra, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Rico Sanchez as Dragon, and Mikaela Hoover as the voice of Tony Tony Chopper.
The second season arrives in full on the service on March 10th. A third season of the series has been in production in Cape Town for nearly three months and is expected to arrive in 2027. Cole Escola and Xolo Mariduena join the cast in that run.
