Disney and Pixar have premiered the Super Bowl spot for the animated science fiction adventure comedy film “Hoppers”.
In the film, a group of scientists invent a way to “hop” human minds into lifelike robotic animal bodies.
An animal-loving teenager named Mabel uses their technology to embody a robotic beaver and thwart a construction company’s plot to destroy the local animal habitat
The voice cast includes Piper Curda as Mabel, Bobby Moynihan as a beaver named King George, Jon Hamm as the greedy Mayor Jerry, Kathy Najimy as biology professor Dr. Sam, Dave Franco as a spoiled insect scion named Titus, Ego Nwodim as Fish Queen, Sam Richardson as grad student Conner, and Meryl Streep as the Insect Queen.
“We Bare Bears” creator Daniel Chong writes and directs the film, which has been in the works at the studio for some time.
“Hoppers” opens in cinemas on March 6th, with the film to premiere at the New York International Children’s Film Festival on February 28th.
