Warner Bros. Pictures

It was expected and now its confirmed, the first trailer for “Supergirl” is launching this week with the preview said to be launching this Thursday.

Ahead of that, DC Studios has unveiled a brief ‘teaser for the teaser’ of just a few seconds, showing Milly Alcock in character in a brief scene also involving a rocket.

The project finished up two weeks of additional photography last month, new scenes that reportedly were expected to include David Corenswet’s Superman.

An early version of the film was quietly screened on the Burbank lot back in October to a very positive response.

In the film, Supergirl (Alcock) travels across the galaxy to celebrate her 21st birthday with Krypto the Superdog. Along the way, she meets a young woman named Ruthye and winds up on a murderous quest for revenge.

Also starring are Eve Ridley as Ruthye Mary Knolle, Jason Momoa as Lobo, Matthias Schoenaerts as the villain Krem of the Yellow Hills, and both David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham as Kara’s parents Zor-El and Alura.

“Supergirl” will fly into cinemas on June 26th 2026.
