Nicole Kidman has joined rising horror filmmaker Osgood Perkins’ new film “The Young People” at NEON. Lola Tung, Nico Parker, Brendan Hines, Cush Jumbo, Heather Graham, Johnny Knoxville, Lexi Minetree, Lily Collias and Tatiana Maslany co-star. Ocean’s Fourteen
Andy Garcia will reprise his role of Terry Benedict in the upcoming “Ocean’s 14” at Warner Bros. Pictures. Garcia confirmed his return during a press day for the second season of Taylor Sheridan’s “Landman”. Filming was to begin in January but has been slightly delayed. Trudy Blue
“Materialists” star Dakota Johnson is set to play an android maid on a cross country journey in the grounded sci-fi action feature “Trudy Blue” which will be sold at the American Film Market. Evan Twohy (“Bubble and Squeak”) pens the script while Alex Saks is producing.

Angus MacLane will direct the project which unfolds in the near future when androids are outlawed. This robotic maid awakens in a landfill 2,000 miles from home and must embark on a journey through a now foreign world to get back to where she belongs. [Source: Deadline]

Peaked
Elizabeth Olsen (“WandaVision”) and Molly Gordon (“Theater Camp”) have signed on for A24 comedy “Peaked” which Gordon will also direct, produce and co-write with Allie Levitan. Filming begins in January in New Jersey.

The story will follow two women in their late-twenties, Bobby (Gordon) and Millie (Olsen), who were once the most popular girls in their high school, but have now amounted to nothing. When they don’t receive an invite to their 10 year high school reunion, they plan to crash the reunion. [Source: Nexus Point News]
