Marvel Television has debuted a new clip from its upcoming “Wonder Man” TV series ahead of its debut in January.
The teaser sees Simon Williams (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) being told he needs to sign a form to confirm that he doesn’t have any superpowers, something that may prove a problem, as in the scene just before that, he appears to unwittingly demonstrate to Ben Kingsley’s Trevor Slattery character that he does have some.
Dubbed a love letter to filmmaking, acting, and Hollywood itself, “Wonder Man” follows actor Simon as he’s thrust into the world of superheroes in a reboot of an old property called Wonder Man with legendary filmmaker Von Kovak (Zlatko Burić) coming out of retirement to direct.
The clip comes as a new report from Legado Da Marvel indicates that the show’s eight episodes all clock in at just over 30 minutes each, the one exception being the fifth which is just 23 minutes long. The longest is the sixth at 34 minutes.
That puts it as something akin to “Hawkeye” in terms of its overall length – that show ran 242 minutes in total, this will clock in around 244 minutes. However individual episodes are more akin to the “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” runtimes.
Marvel Television’s “Wonder Man” will debut on Disney+ on January 27th 2026.
