It’s official, Hulu has renewed its mystery comedy series “Only Murders in the Building” for a sixth season.
As previously reported, the new season will see a big change of locale as the show will film in London for season six.
The renewal announcement comes just hours after the season five finale premiered on Hulu. The core trio of Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez are set to return for season six.
The series continues to be one of Hulu’s best-performing shows. The recent run premiered on September 9th, and the show made the Nielsen Top 10 during both its premiere week and the following week.
Those Nielsen streaming ratings, which come in over a month behind the actual date, currently only go up to the week of September 22nd when the new season’s third episode aired. That third episode just missed out on the Top 10.
John Hoffman and Martin created the series. Hoffman serves as showrunner and executive produces with Martin, Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal, Ben Smith and JJ Philbin.
