Answering a question about the future of “The Penguin” series while out promoting his film “The Ballad of a Small Player,” actor Colin Farrell confirms that Matt Reeves’ “The Batman Part II” will pick up a few weeks after the events of “The Penguin” series. Following yesterday’s report of “Yellowstone” alum Taylor Sheridan exiting Paramount and moving to Universal once his deal is over, a follow-up piece at The Wrap indicates the new deal is said to run for eight years and be worth $1 billion.
Paramount Skydance
Following the Paramount Skydance merger, the studio is reportedly looking to slash approximately 1,000 jobs this coming Wednesday. That’s just the start, as a series of deep staffing cuts is expected to eliminate a total of around 2,000 jobs in the U.S., with additional layoffs taking place internationally. Paramount Pictures has confirmed that tickets are officially on sale for Edgar Wright’s new take on “The Running Man,” starring Glen Powell in the lead role of Ben Richards. To celebrate, multiple new posters for the film have been released and can be seen below, along with a brief promo spot featuring Powell.
