Sink, Ruffalo Spotted On “Spider-Man” Set

Filming continues on Marvel Studios’ “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” in the UK with set videos going online showing off two of Tom Holland’s key co-stars in the film.

First up, Oscar nominee Mark Ruffalo has seemingly been spotted. Photos and video show the actor strapped down on a gurney for a scene in the film.

Just what guise he will take in the final film is not clear, rumors have swirled he’ll be portraying the Savage Hulk incarnation of the character – a deadly alter-ego triggered by emotional distress.

Other photos from shooting in Basingstoke in the UK give us a first glimpse of Sadie Sink on set. The actor is seen sporting an overcoat to hide her full outfit, but certain clues in the photos and video may give away who she is.

Despite months of rumors of her playing one of the X-Men in the film, or a potential version of Gwen Stacy, it appears neither of those things are true going by fans who have poured over the photos.

The actress has retained her natural red hair and appears to be wearing camo combat gear and a pair of army-style boots along with her character has sustained a gunshot wound. This has led to speculation that she’ll play Rachel Cole-Alvez, the mysterious female partner of Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal).

The only official details on her character is that she’s a “sharp and free-spirited” woman who has a “mysterious past.” There have been various rumors though, including one saying she may be someone Peter Parker trusts before she’s outed as a villain whom Spidey must fight.

A photo is also out of Liza Colón-Zayas in the film. Tramell Tillman, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon co-star in the movie which Destin Daniel Cretton is directing for a July 31st 2026 release.
