Following its Tribeca Film Festival premiere in June last year, Wood Entertainment has released the trailer for the four-part docuseries “Tim Burton: Life in the Line”.
The title has set an October 23rd premiere date which the company will self-distribute vis a custom direct-to-consumer streaming platform via timburtonlifeintheline.com.
All four episodes will be $24.99 for a five-day rental. It will also be available for purchase at $39.99 for standard release, or $74.99 for premium release, which features hours of bonus content.
Directed by Tara Wood (“21 Years: Richard Linklater”), the film blends never-before-seen footage, interviews and artwork, spanning celebrated filmmaker Tim Burton’s early career to the makings of his films like “Batman,” “Beetlejuice,” “Edward Scissorhands,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “Ed Wood,” “Corpse Bride,” “Dumbo,” the TV series “Wednesday” and more.
Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder, Helena Bonham Carter, Michael Keaton, Danny Elfman, Jenna Ortega, Christoph Waltz, Mia Wasikowska and more all lend themselves to interviews for the project.
