The Netflix TV series adaptation of the “Extraction” film franchise is rounding out its cast with ten more names joining the list.
“Doctor Who,” “Iron Fist” and “The Great” alum Sacha Dhawan and “Preacher” scene stealer Pip Torrens are the biggest names of the new additions.
Also joining are Ross McCall (“Silo”), Sam Woolf (“We Were the Lucky Ones”), Muhannad Ben Amor (“Andor”), Theo Ogundipe (“Mickey 17”), Emma Appleton (“Everything I Know About Love”)m Aaron Heffernan (“Brassic”), Jojo Macari (“Those About to Die”) and Michael Zananiri (“Once Upon a Time in Gaza”).
They join the previously announced lead Omar Sy, as well as Boyd Holbrook, Natalie Dormer, Waleed Zuaiter, May Calamawy, and Ed Speleers.
The eight-episode first season follows a mercenary (Sy) who embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue hostages in Libya. Trapped between warring factions and ruthless killers, he must navigate life-or-death choices while confronting deep emotional wounds.
Glen Mazzara serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer on the series set in the same world as the Chris Hemsworth-led action franchise.
