New Poster & Cast: “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2”

Universal Pictures

Universal Pictures and Blumhouse have released another poster for the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” sequel, and announced some key new casting for the film, which is hitting cinemas on December 5th 2025.

Megan Fox has joined the cast as the voice of Toy Chica, MatPat will be the voice of Toy Bonnie and Kellen Goff is the voice of Toy Freddy.

The first film adapted the famed video game series from Scott Cawthon and received generally negative reviews, but was a major hit – grossing $295 million to become Blumhouse’s highest-grossing film.

It also set streaming records for Peacock where it simultaneously premiered. Josh Hutcherson starred as a troubled security guard who starts a job at an abandoned pizzeria and family entertainment center. There he discovers the animatronic mascots are possessed by homicidal children.

The new film has the tagline “Anyone can survive five nights. This time, there will be no second chances”. Hutcherson returns for the new movie alongside Matthew Lillard, Elizabeth Lail and Piper Rubio.

The casting news was announced during Jason Blum’s BlumFest panel at New York Comic Con Friday night. Earlier this week, Blum called The “Elm Street” and “Friday the 13th” franchises his “two white whales” that he’d love to work on, while also indicating the next “Saw” film will have James Wan’s involvement.
