The filmmaking world’s favorite cranky uncle, Ridley Scott, is at it again with a recent appearance at BFI retrospective this weekend and gave a very Ridley Scott answer when asked what recent films he’d seen and liked. He responded:

“The quantity of movies that are made today, literally millions globally, and most of it is s—. So what I do, and it’s a horrible thing, but I’ve started to watch my own movies, and actually they’re really good! And also, they don’t age.”

Kimberly Hebert Gregory
Kimberly Hébert Gregory, who portrayed school principal Dr. Belinda Brown opposite Danny McBride and Walton Goggins in HBO’s “Vice Principals”, has died. She was 62. She is survived by her ex-husband and son.

Throughout the 2000s, Gregory made appearances in series like “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Better Call Saul,” “Dollface,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Two and a Half Men,” “Barry” and “Law & Order,” and had a recurring role in “Devious Maids”. [Source: Variety]
