Channing Tatum says that Marvel fans genuinely aren’t ready for what’s coming next December when “Avengers: Doomsday” launches.
The title, which recently wrapped production, is being helmed by Joe and Anthony Russo and is heading into post production ahead of inevitable reshoots next year.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of his new drama “Roofman,” Tatum hyped up the film and scale of it:
“I don’t know how to describe it to you. It’s going to make your brains ooze out of your ears. Like in the way I knew when Blade walks on screen in Deadpool & Wolverine, people are going to physically lose their actual minds. It’s that, but I don’t know, maybe times 50. It’s gonna be one of them things. As a comic fan, you’re just not ready.”
Tatum will reprise his “Deadpool & Wolverine” role as Remy LeBeau/Gambit in the film alongside Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Letitia Wright as Shuri/Black Panther, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Wyatt Russell as John Walker/U.S. Agent, Tenoch Huerta Mejía as Namor, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Lewis Pullman as Bob Reynolds/Sentry, Danny Ramirez as Falcon, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, and Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.
“Avengers: Doomsday” hits cinemas on December 18th 2026 followed by “Avengers: Secret Wars” in cinemas on December 17th 2027.
