A couple of new trailers today for projects that have already had trailers.
First, Amazon MGM Studios has released the new trailer for Luca Guadagnino’s psychological thriller “After the Hunt,” which hits limited release on October 10th and wide release a week later.
Julia Roberts plays a college professor who finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when a star student (Ayo Edebiri) levels an accusation against one of her colleagues (Andrew Garfield), and a dark secret from her own past threatens to come into the light.
Next, Lionsgate has released another trailer for Aziz Ansari’s “Good Fortune” which opens on October 17th. Ansari, Keanu Reeves, Keke Palmer, Sandra Oh and Stephen McKinley Henderson co-star. The story follows a well-meaning but rather inept angel named Gabriel meddles in the lives of a struggling gig worker and a wealthy venture capitalist.
Finally, Amazon Prime Video has released the trailer for the latest Harlan Coben adaptation, “Lazarus”, which premieres all six episodes on October 22nd. Sam Claflin plays a man who returns home after his father, Dr. Jonathan Lazarus (Bill Nighy), dies by suicide and begins to have disturbing experiences that can’t be explained.
He quickly becomes entangled in a series of cold-case murders as he grapples with the mystery of his father’s death and his sister’s murder 25 years ago. Alexandra Roach, David Fynn, Karla Crome, and Kate Ashfield co-star.
