Luke Cage
“Luke Cage” actor Mike Colter was asked at Edmonton Expo this weekend about potentially returning to the MCU. He cheekily responded: “I don’t know why people keep asking me this. There are no signs. It’s not like Marvel has just revived one of the Netflix shows.” It has long been rumored that Colter will reprise his role in a cameo in the next season of “Daredevil: Born Again”. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
Last week came the news that Nintendo, Illumination and Universal Pictures’ “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” sequel will be titled “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie”. Earlier today, an apparent image of an unassembled and unfinished action figure from the film debuted online that appears to suggest Bowser Jr. is in the film.
The original source has reportedly been hit with a copyright strike by NBCUniversal, but even so, the character’s involvement isn’t confirmed. That said, it wouldn’t be out of place as Bowser Jr. played a big role in the “Super Mario Galaxy” games, which serve as direct inspiration for the next film. [Source: The Gamer]
Masters of the Universe
A very blurry and overexposed photo of an apparent cinema lobby standee for next year’s “Masters of the Universe” live-action film has gone up at ForEternia and appears to show Nicholas Galitzine’s He-Man atop Battle Cat. Details on the photo are hard to make out but hopefully this signals that early publicity materials for the film aren’t far off.
