The Walt Disney Studios Marketing Expo has been underway in Shangai this week with the company using both a light show and marketing materials to tease next year’s “Avengers: Doomsday” release.

As a result, it appears that Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom look in the film has been revealed via these methods. Photos of a piece of official promotional art showcasing Doom’s outfit began appearing on social media yesterday, and now a full HD version has gone online.

From chainmail sleeves to some very intricate armor and one hell of a belt, the look is surprisingly intimidating.

Meanwhile, a video has also emerged of a drone-powered light show featuring various images of Doctor Doom, including him sitting on a throne and using or assembling a device.

The confirmed cast is massive with multiple original “X-Men,” “Fantastic Four,” “Black Panther,” and “Thunderbolts” actors along with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Anthony Mackie’s Captain America, Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man, Simu Liu’s Shang-Chi, Danny Ramirez’s Joaquin Torres/Falcon and Tom Hiddleston‘s Loki.

That’s not including the very likely returnees like Chris Evans, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Hayley Atwell, Ryan Reynolds and more. “Avengers: Doomsday” hits cinemas on December 18th 2026.
