Gunn Announces DC’s “Man of Tomorrow”

Warner Bros. Pictures

DC Studios chief James Gunn has confirmed that the sort-of “Superman” sequel he’s been working on has a name – “Man of Tomorrow”.

As previously indicated, the film won’t be a direct sequel to tis Summer’s “Superman” but will include David Corenswet’s character as a major part of it.

Lex Luthor actor Nicholas Hoult also shared the announcement on social media alongside Corenswet and Gunn, each showing off artwork such as the one below.

Rachel Brosnahan is also expected to return as Lois Lane, as is Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, but further details about the project remain under wraps for now beyond the film having a July 9th 2027 release date.

Potential source material for the film is numerous as several comic runs at DC have used that title in the past.

Gunn’s “Superman” is currently available to rent or purchase on digital outlets. Next year will see both DC’s “Supergirl” and “Clayface” films hit cinemas.
