A first look has been released of Lady Gaga’s character Rosaline Rotwood in the upcoming second season of Netflix smash hit “Wednesday”.
The character will appear in the second half of the second season which is set to hit the streamer this week. She is described as a “legendary Nevermore Academy teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday Addams.”
In addition to her guest-starring role, Gaga is set to debut her new song “The Dead Dance” during the show.
After the first season launched, a meme featuring Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday Addams dancing to a sped-up version of Gaga’s “Bloody Mary” went viral.
Ortega said she’d love Gaga to be a part of the show while being interviewed at the 2023 Golden Globes. That led to discussions and then Gaga coming onboard.
Gaga has racked up several film and TV credits to her name over the years including “A Star Is Born,” “American Horror Story,” “House of Gucci,” and “Joker: Folie a Deux”.
The second half of the second season of “Wednesday” arrives on Netflix on Wednesday September 3rd.
