“Ice Age 6” To Be Titled ‘Boiling Point’

Disney has announced that the upcoming sixth “Ice Age” film has landed a title – “Ice Age: Boiling Point”.

The project, which was previously set for a December 28th 2026 release, is now slated to open on February 5th 2027.

Franchise stars Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, and Queen Latifah return as Manny the woolly mammoth, Sid the ground sloth, Diego the saber-tooth tiger, and Ellie the woolly mammoth respectively.

Also back is Simon Pegg as Buck the one-eyed weasel, while the other voice cast includes Josh Peck, Seann William Scott, Keke Palmer, Wanda Sykes, Nick Offerman, Jennifer Lopez, Peter Dinklage, and Josh Gad.

Specifics as to who is writing or directing haven’t been revealed. The previous five films, released between 2002 and 2016, have earned a combined worldwide gross of $3.2 billion.
