NEON and Cweature Features have boarded the Adam Scott-led “Hokum” which will be introduced in Toronto next week and premiere in 2026. Damian McCarthy is writing and directing while Peter Coonan, David Wilmot, Florence Ordesh, Will O’Connell, and Michael Patric co-star.

Scott plays a novelist who retreats to a remote Irish inn to scatter his parents’ ashes, but the staff’s tales of an ancient witch haunting the honeymoon suite take hold of his mind. Soon, disturbing visions and a shocking disappearance draw him into a nightmarish confrontation with the darkest corners of his past. [Source: Deadline]

The Naked Gun
Paramount Pictures has announced “The Naked Gun” is coming to digital this coming Tuesday September 2nd, followed by a 4K, Blu-ray and DVD disc release on November 11th.

Also confirmed are a lot of extras including six featurettes, three sets of outtakes, multiple mock ads, seven extended scenes, three alternate scenes and six deleted scenes. [Source: Paramount]

The Hack
ITV has premiered the trailer for “The Hack,” the upcoming limited series about the phone hacking scandal involving the Murdoch-owned News of the World newspaper which culminated in the outlet’s closure in 2011.

David Tennant, Toby Jones, Robert Carlyle, Katherine Kelly, Dougray Scott, Rose Leslie, Lara Pulver, Eve Myles, Barry Sloane, Adrian Lester, Sean Pertwee, Alec Newman, Phil Davis, and Steve Pemberton star in the series which follows journalist Nick Davies who uncovered evidence of phone hacking, and the investigation into the murder of private investigator Daniel Morgan.

Lazarus
Amazon Prime Video have confirmed an October 22nd premiere for all six episodes of the new “Harlan Coben’s Lazarus” series starring Sam Claflin, Bill Nighy, Alexandra Roach and Kate Ashfield. Coben and Danny Brocklehurst penned the drama together.

Claflin plays a forensic psychologist investigating his father’s suicide, only to become entangled in a slew of cold case murders which force him to grapple with the mystery of his father’s death and his sister’s murder 25 years earlier. [Source: Amazon]
