Paramount has confirmed that “South Park” will stick to its current plan of premiering new episodes every other Wednesday for its ongoing, Trump-skewering Season 27.
Thus, the season’s fourth and fifth episodes will air on Comedy Central on September 3rd and 17th, respectively. Assuming it sticks to the ten-episode plan, the finale will air December 10th. [Source: Variety]
The Twilight Saga
Lionsgate has confirmed that the entire “Twilight” film saga will be returning to cinemas this October with a wide re-release of the entire five-film saga by Fathom Entertainment to mark the 20th anniversary of the book series.
‘Forever Begins Again’ is the tagline being used for this re-release which runs from Wednesday October 29th to Sunday November 2nd with one film per day. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner starred in the films based on the novels by Stephenie Meyer. [Source: THR]
Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere
20th Century Studios has unveiled a short teaser for “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere,” the upcoming biopic about New Jersey-born rock and roll singer Bruce Springsteen. Jeremy Allen White plays the role in the Scott Cooper-directed film.
The clip confirms the film as an official selection for the upcoming Telluride Film Festival. The film itself, which also stars Jeremy Strong, Paul Walter Hauser, Stephen Graham, Gaby Hoffman, Odessa Young, Marc Maron and David Krumholtz, opens in cinemas on October 24th.
Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy
Peacock has premiered the official trailer for its eight-episode true crime drama series “Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy” starring Michael Chernus (“Severance”) along with Michael Angarano, Gabriel Luna, James Badge Dale, Chris Sullivan and Marin Ireland.
The series deals with one of America’s most notorious serial killers who slaughtered nearly three dozen young men in the 1970s. The entire run was showrun by Patrick Macmanus and will be available for streaming on Thursday, October 16th.
Alice in Borderland
Netflix has premiered the official trailer for the third season of its survival action series “Alice in Borderland,” a series that become the most watched Japanese Netflix title by worldwide audiences. The new run premieres worldwide on September 25th.
