Apple TV+ has premiered the trailer for “The Savant,” its new Apple TV+ thriller series starring Jessica Chastain, which premieres on September 26th.
The high-stakes thriller is based on a Cosmopolitan article by Andrea Stanley and is based on a true story. It follows an undercover investigator known as The Savant, who is outwardly an average suburban mom.
By night, however, she’s uncovering the darkest corners of the internet – infiltrating online hate groups in an effort to stop domestic extremists before they act.
Nnamdi Asomugha, Cole Doman, Jordana Spiro, Trinity Lee Shirley, Toussaint Francois Battiste, and Pablo Schreiber also star in the eight-episode series.
Chastain, Kelly Carmichael, Alan Poul, Melissa James Gibson, Matthew Heineman, David Levine and Garrett Kemble executive produce.
“The Savant” will debut its first two episodes on Friday, September 26th, with one new episode every Friday through November 7th.
