New set photos and videos have gone online showcasing filming on Greta Gerwig’s film adaptation of “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew” for Netflix.
Frequent UK set photo capturer UnBoxPHD posted a video which shows off Emma Mackey’s stunt double on set and dressed as the White Witch Jadis.
Mackey’s double can be seen riding through a town on horseback. Others are spotted dressed in period garb.
Gerwig directs from a screenplay she wrote, and the film also stars Daniel Craig, Carey Mulligan, and Meryl Streep as the voice of Aslan.
The film is expected to be an adaptation of the first book chronologically in the series, though, as previously reported, the film’s Earth scenes will be moved up a few decades from the novel.
Amy Pascal, Mark Gordon, and Vincent Sieber are producing the adaptation, which will shoot throughout the rest of the year ahead of a planned November 26th 2026 release.
