Pascal Wraps “Avengers,” Considers “Behemoth”

HBO

Pedro Pascal is reportedly in talks to star in “Behemoth!,” the upcoming new film from “Michael Clayton” writer/director and “Andor” series creator Tony Gilroy.

Searchlight Pictures is backing the project, which reportedly revolves around a cellist. While a deal isn’t done yet, the very busy Pascal is said to be keen to make it happen.

Gilroy and Sanne Wohlenberg will produce, with shooting to begin this Fall in Los Angeles.

Pascal is coming off an Emmy nomination for his work in HBO’s “The Last of Us” Season 2 earlier this year, and three films in cinemas lately – “Materialists,” “Eddington” and Marvel’s “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”.

The new report also indicates he recently wrapped his scenes on the currently shooting “Avengers: Doomsday,” news that has surprised many, as that project is only a little over the halfway point in its lengthy six-month shoot.

Pascal has both “Avengers: Doomsday” and “The Mandalorian and Grogu” hitting cinemas next Summer.
