Frankenstein
Marvel alum Sebastian Stan is set to star in a wild new indie adaptation of “Frankenstein” by filmmaker Radu Jude (“Do Not Expect Too Much from the End of the World,” “Kontinental ’25”). Jude says he’s writing the script which will “begin with the reality of CIA black sites on Romanian soil from 20 years ago, and then merge that with another cinematic myth—the Frankenstein monster” [Source: Cultura la duba]

The Punisher
Filming has wrapped on Marvel Studios’ “The Punisher” special with actor Jon Bernthal marking the occasion with a profanity-laced speech thanking cast, crew and some New York neighborhoods earlier this week. Bernthal will shortly be heading to the UK to continue his role in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”.

The special appears to have been shot over a course of 12 filming days, and to fit it into such a compressed shooting timeline required a lot of hard work and long days from everyone involved. By comparison, the prior “Werewolf By Night” special filmed over a span of 18 days. [Source: Instagram]
