Two new trailers launched today of note. First up, 20th Century Studios has premiered the trailer for “As Good As It Gets” director James L. Brooks’ new feature “Ella McCay”.
The story follows an idealistic young politician who juggles familial issues and a challenging work life while preparing to take over the job of her mentor, the state’s longtime incumbent governor.
Emma Mackey stars in the lead role alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, Woody Harrelson, Ayo Edebiri, Albert Brooks, Kumail Nanjiani, Jack Lowden, Rebecca Hall, Spike Fearn, Erica McDermott, Troy Garity and Julie Kavner. The film opens in cinemas on December 12th.
Also today is the trailer for “Shelby Oaks,” a new horror film executive produced by Mike Flanagan and being written and directed by Chris Stuckmann.
Camille Sullivan plays Mia, a woman searching for her long-lost younger sister, Riley (Sarah Dunn), for over a decade. That search falls into obsession, upon realizing that the imaginary demon from their childhood may have been real.
Brendan Sexton III, Michael Beach, Robin Bartlett, Keith David, Charlie Talbert, Emily Bennett, Sarah Dunn, and Derek Mears co-star in the film opening in cinemas October 3rd.
