First Trailer: “Stranger Things” Final Season

Netflix

Following the first poster yesterday, Netflix has premiered the first trailer for the highly anticipated fifth and final season of its supernatural drama series phenomenon “Stranger Things”.

Set in the fall of 1987. The opening of the Rifts has impacted Hawkins heavily and our heroes are determined to find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished.

Complicating things is that the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding.

As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a familiar dread as darkness looms more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before.

Said to be a blend of the first and fourth seasons in tone, the eight-episode run will see all the regulars return including Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Jim Hopper, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, and Sadie Sink as Maxine ‘Max’ Mayfield.

Also starring are Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Maya Hawke as Robin Buckley, Priah Ferguson as Erica Sinclair, Jamie Cambell Bower as Vecna, along with Cara Buono, Amybeth McNulty, and Linda Hamilton in an undisclosed role.

Stranger Things 5, Volume 1 (Eps 1-4) releases on November 26th.
Stranger Things 5, Volume 2 (Eps 5-7) releases on December 25th.
Stranger Things 5, Volume 3 (Ep 8) releases on December 31st.
